DR. MARCIA ORMSBY: As a plastic surgeon I need to be able to sort out what your objective is in your surgery. For instance, if you would like to have a certain appearance, change a certain part of your body or face; that knowledge comes through communication. It’s the only way I can learn that. The way I do my work is to have you be as healthy as you can be to experience the ordeal of surgery, to experience the whole procedure.
So I do focus on your own health, on your weight, on the habits that you maintain throughout your life and try to have you to be the healthiest you can be so that as you go through your surgical experience, you benefit to the best of anybody’s ability.
