DR. MARCIA ORMSBY: Here at Annapolis Aesthetic Surgery I offer a wide range of surgical choices to my patients. Many times patients will come in asking for one type of surgery not realizing that they would like even another type of surgery. For instance, they might not like the way their nose looks and realize that their eyelids also need to be adjusted. I offer facelift rejuvenation surgery and attention to the neck, to rejuvenate the neck. Many times the facial skeleton is out of balance or deficient, so I offer implants to the cheek or the chin area.

I also, since when you look at a person you first see their eyes, I want to see that the eyes are open, awake, and alert. That’s not always looking young that is important but looking fresh and looking awake is the most important aspect, I think, of rejuvenation surgery. In addition, I offer breast surgery. Many times after a woman has nursed her children, the breasts fall. They can actually increase in size, or they can decrease in size. But many times they lose their form. And so my job is to put the breast back into the proper shape.

The volume of the breast is the patient’s choice. The patient decides if she is too large or too small or just right. The body often changes with a pregnancy. The abdomen often loses its tenacity. It doesn’t have the proper strength to hold the abdomen into the right position. In that regard, many women suffer lower back pain. So the ability to bring the abdomen to its proper position and contour often helps and assists in the decrease of back pain for my patients. And, of course, a wide range of body contouring procedures are offered here as well.
