Eclipse MicroPen™ Elite
The Eclipse MicroPen™ Elite is a revolutionary new micro-needling device used to rejuvenate the skin. The automated technology is designed to treat a variety of skin concerns, including acne scars, fine lines, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation. This is possible through the tiny perforations made by the MicroPen™ into the skin, which stimulates the body’s natural healing process. As a result, the skin’s texture and tone can be improved for a healthier, younger-looking appearance. While the MicroPen™ can be used on most skin areas, the device is most commonly used to treat the face, neck, arms, stomach, and legs.

How the Eclipse MicroPen™ Elite Works
Through a process known as Percutaneous Collagen Induction Therapy (PCIT), the MicroPen™ pulsates to create numerous micro-injuries in the target treatment area. This signals the growth of new collagen and elastin to repair the perforations, causing cosmetic skin concerns like uneven texture or tone to be improved. The treatment is fully customized to each patient by adjusting the depth of the needle penetration to achieve optimal results with minimal trauma of the surrounding healthy tissue.
Our esthetician enhances the results of the MicroPen™ by applying topical hyaluronic acid (HA) or platelet rich plasma (PRP) to the skin before performing the micro-needling procedure. This allows the device to gently glide over the skin, while increasing the materials’ absorption into the skin. As a result, patients can experience enhanced rejuvenation results.
The entire procedure takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes to complete, though this will vary depending on the extent of the areas treated. Our esthetician often recommends patients undergo a series of three micro-needling sessions to achieve the best outcome.
What to Expect After Treatment
For the first 24 hours, it is normal to experience redness in the treated area. After the first few days, patients typically begin to notice subtle improvement in their skin, which should continue to improve for the next couple weeks as the skin continues to heal. Once the damaged tissue has completed the regeneration process, both the texture and tone of the skin can appear healthier and more even.
